the leather used is good quality but if you request a special buckle be prepared for a suprise. the stitching holding the origional buckle in place is cut so it can be replaced. the stitchng is then replaced by two chicago screws (make sure they are tight or put some glue in them if you don't plan on changing it out yourself at a later date). i was expeciting at least some brass rivets. i would purchase specialty items from here again but i will also be purchasing some brass rivets to replace the screws for a more perminate hold.
